Sunday night crazies...

The colors were incredible today- there really is nothing like the fall in East Tennessee- too bad it has to be followed by the winter.... I really don't like winter anymore- is that a universal thing the older you get? Is that why my parents moved to Florida when they retired? Too bad.... I hate Florida too- it has to do with my parents moving down there while I was in college and driving by Chattanooga where I was in school and leaving me a small blue metal box that was supposedly my life and then moving to this pine tree laden wasteland in the middle of the state that felt like Mars. I know there are great places in Florida- mostly close to the ocean- but my memory of Florida doesn't include this vision- just a yard with no grass in a place with nothing to do but sit in a spotlessly new house that wasn't home anymore. It really is weird the way our memories form our overwhelming impressions of places when we are at  vunerable times in our lives. Thanks to everyone who came by the show this weekend- thank s to all my friends and family near and far. I have a blessed life and I am grateful.
